We already miss her so much.

We were so looking forward to seeing Kim and Gary over Memorial Day Weekend.  But a tragic moment totally changed our plans for the holiday.  Around Pratt, KS., Gary and Kim pulled over to wait out the rain and wind of a nasty storm.  They happened to pick the wrong spot at the wrong time, and a tornado picked up their car and tossed it into a field at least 150 yards from the road.  They were both killed. 

We know they are both safely in the arms of Jesus.  But, we are so so so sad and lonely for the sister and brother we loved so much.  It will never ever be the same.  We will miss them always.

    I’m so sorry to hear this heart-breaking news. I only discovered her site a few weeks ago and was so looking forward to reading more. My sympathies to the family - I will be praying for you all.

    I am so sorry for your losses. I went to High School with Kim and she was always such a sweet, kind friend. I had recently found her blog and was so happy to see that she was so happy. What a sad thing to have two people leave the earth who were so young. But they are in Heaven together and I know it is all part of God’s plan, and that gives me comfort. I hope it does you too. I know they will both be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I just heard the news and wanted to send Kim and Gary’s family my deepest condolences, prayers and blessings during this tragic time! I just reconnected with Kim last summer at our high school reunion and got to meet Gary then. They were both such nice, genuine people and it’s such a shock when this happens to people as young and caring as them. Again my thoughts are with their family!

    I wrote a small tribute to Gary. Unfortunately I only found Kim’s blog recently and never got to know her. I grew up with Gary and have many fond childhood memories of him.
