It looks lovely. Enjoy your new project.

As for a homemaking tip …. ummmm - make the bed every morning?? Probably not exactly what you were looking for. Hmmm, what about this one - I keep a few different pots of flowering plants around my garden and place the ones that are in flower near the front door as a cheery greeting to any visitors. When they finish flowering I put them back out in the garden and bring the next one that’s (hopefully) about to burst into colour to the front door.

Okay…a homemaking tip? Enjoy your home. Love what you do. Serve joyfully!

Wowsers! You send a little email with a few pointers and let a girl loose, and look what she DOES! YAY for you!!! It looks fabulous.

Homemaking tip - I read this one somewhere else, but I thought it was really good. #1 Get up. #2 Look around for something to do. #3 Do it. #4 Repeat. I’m going to try it today, and I’ll let you know how that goes!

And YAY for you! Did I say that already?!

Hi, I dropped by from Laura’s site…what your starting here looks super! My home tips would be….Keep things as simple and clutter free as possible, tackle problem areas regularly, even five minutes at a time can get you closer to orgaization! The other thing I would say is that we don’t need expensive chemical cleaners to clean, just hot water, a drop or two of dish soap and a little elbow grease will do most jobs!

My home tip. People are more important than the stuff in a home. What really makes a home a home is loving on people and not loving on dusting and mopping. People come first. Then the other stuff. If its out of whack the cleanest house in the world will put off an aura of ugliness.

I like the site so far. I know you will make it a warm and heartfelt place to be! Great start.

Home tips? I think I can find a few.
    1. Substitute in equal measure applesauce for “shortening” in baking. Bread, cookies, pancakes… it lowers the fat content, and I think boosts the flavor.

    2. Keep a sense of humor. If you let the mess get you down, you forget the love that lives in your home.

    3. Make the bed. Once a week, at the least. I know, you are just going to mess it up again later, but you never know when the dude working on your house has to go in there.
