The phones were messed up around here today. anyone who had Verizon wireless (which would be hubby & I) and any land lines, could not send or receive phone calls today. Even Wal-Mart was having to accept old-fashioned checks because their credit card machines weren’t working. I guess a fiber optic line got cut somewhere in the area. And this is not the first time it has happened here. Anyway- we get to Wal-Mart after work tonight, and get in line, and then hear we can’t use our debit card. Okay- so I’ll write a check. Except, hubby paid bills last night, and forgot to give me back the checkbook. So he had to drive home and get it- come back and get me at Wal-Mart so we could pay for the stuff we needed. And then by the time we got home (at almost 7p) our phones started working again. And wouldn’t you know- we missed the phone call we’d been waiting for!!! But the funny thing was- the message was left at the same time I posted my last post asking for prayers! (Who says God doesn’t have good timing? ) But, now we have to wait til tomorrow now to hear about our situation. Please be praying that it is good news.
