We were so looking forward to seeing Kim and Gary over Memorial Day Weekend.  But a tragic moment totally changed our plans for the holiday.  Around Pratt, KS., Gary and Kim pulled over to wait out the rain and wind of a nasty storm.  They happened to pick the wrong spot at the wrong time, and a tornado picked up their car and tossed it into a field at least 150 yards from the road.  They were both killed. 

We know they are both safely in the arms of Jesus.  But, we are so so so sad and lonely for the sister and brother we loved so much.  It will never ever be the same.  We will miss them always.

Only 7 more hours til we hit the road! I am sooo excited! And thankfully I only have to work 5 hours today- that’s going to be hard enough! Then I get to go home and finish packing so we can leave here by 3p! It’s gonna be hard to get any work done today… Only damper was that gas jumped a dime this morning, making our mid-grade $4.11/gallon. Ridiculous!!!!

Don’t take a nap!!! Because if you take a nap, you DON’T SLEEP when you NEED to!!! And you’re blogging at 12:45am, and your alarm is set to go off at 6:15a… Don’t EVER take a nap AGAIN!!! Sigh… Yawn… Tomorrow Today is gonna be a long day… And we’re having company for dinner tonight too… Long, long day.
